Jana. She is
Austrian and practiced
Yoga since over 10
years before she
became a certified
Ashtanga Yoga Teacher
(Mysore Mandala,
India). Since two
years she teaches Yoga
classes in Dahab, her
teaching languages are
English and German.
Although we have
rugs available we
recommend to bring
your own Yoga mat!

General Information
Broaden your awareness

experience an increase

ASHTAGA YOGA is
flowing and dynamic,
synchronized with the
breath. It is both
energizing and
relaxing, leads to
mental and physical
balance and helps us
to handle the daily
stress of the modern
world.
Every Yoga class
begins with warm-ups
like the Sun
Salutation, a series
of postures performed
in a single, graceful
flow that builds
strength and increases
flexibility. After
warming up the muscles
a series of body
positions (Asanas)
is practised - every
day the focus lies on
different parts of the
body. At the end of
each class a 10 minute
lasting final
relaxation is held,
giving the body time
to relax and getting
the full benefit of
the Asanas.
With Pranayama
we learn to control
breathing. The various
exercises clean the
body and concentrate
and calm the mind.
Breathing exercises
help train the lungs,
increase their volumes
and make them work
more effectively.
Meditation
brings us closer to
our self. We learn to
listen to the inner
voice; we find
answers, peace and
harmony. We hold still
and discover a whole
world new.
DAILY SCHEDULE
On the first day after
arrival an
introduction to Raja
Yoga and an overview
over the weekly
schedule is given. In
the evening a slow and
easy asana class will
lead into a week of
intense Yoga practice.
In the following days
an 1 ½h asana class
will be held in the
mornings. During
afternoon classes
detailed corrections
on certain positions,
practice of Pranayamas
(breathing exercises)
lectures and
meditation will be
done. There is always
time in between to
answer questions and
intensify information!
The daily Yoga
practice will deepen
your awareness,
concentration and
relaxation and
strengthen your body.
