ASHTAGA YOGA is flowing and dynamic, synchronized with the breath. It is both energizing and relaxing, leads to mental and physical balance and helps us to handle the daily stress of the modern world. 

Your Yoga teacher is Jana. She is Austrian and practiced Yoga since over 10 years before she became a certified Ashtanga Yoga Teacher (Mysore Mandala, India). Since two years she teaches Yoga classes in Dahab, her teaching languages are English and German. 

Although we have rugs available we recommend to bring your own Yoga mat! 
 

FREE YOUR MIND - YOGA HOLIDAYS in DAHAB 

Experience 1 week of intense Yoga practice, sea, sun, mountains and the desert! 

INCLUDED:

  • 10 Yoga sessions, 2x daily (morning 1 ½ hours Asanas, afternoon 1 hour Pranayama, Meditation and Lectures)

    One of the 10 sessions will be held early morning in the Dahab Lagoon on the beach, another one will be done in the desert surrounding Dahab

  • 7 nights in Oricana***Hotel/DR/BB
  • Bedouin Dinner in the mountains under the stars (after the Desert-Yoga session)

YOGA SAFARI 

In the silence of the desert it is much easier to find concentration and get in touch with yourself. The atmosphere, silence and magic of the Sinai desert support the practice of Yoga in every way. We do two classes per day including body work (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. 

Day 1:  Sharm Airport - Dahab, Hotel in Dahab 

Day 2: Morning Yoga – free day in Dahab (optional activities) – afternoon Yoga, Hotel in Dahab 

Day 3:  Camel SAFARI with Yoga
Morning Yoga in Dahab – start of the Camel Safari in Wadi Heduda - riding through the amazing sandstone area of South Sinai with all its erosions and strange formations – reaching Heduda, Sinai’s highest sand dune – afternoon Yoga - overnight in the desert 

Day 4: Morning Yoga – climbing the fantastic dune – camel trek through Wadi Gebi and Wadi Ghazala – afternoon Yoga – overnight in the desert 

Day 5: Morning Yoga – camel trek to the famous White Canyon – hiking the Canyon – Oasis Ain Khudra – afternoon Yoga - overnight in the oasis 

Day 6: Morning Yoga – camel trek from Ain Khudra to the Rock of Inscription (ancient rock inscriptions) – Dahab – afternoon Yoga – Hotel in Dahab 

Day 7: Free day in Dahab (optional activities) – Hotel in Dahab

General Information 
 

Broaden your awareness and open up body, soul and mind during your holiday in Dahab, experience an increase in flexibility, learn to control your breath and free your mind. 
 

ASHTAGA YOGA is flowing and dynamic, synchronized with the breath. It is both energizing and relaxing, leads to mental and physical balance and helps us to handle the daily stress of the modern world. 
 

Every Yoga class begins with warm-ups like the Sun Salutation, a series of postures performed in a single, graceful flow that builds strength and increases flexibility. After warming up the muscles a series of body positions (Asanas) is practised - every day the focus lies on different parts of the body. At the end of each class a 10 minute lasting final relaxation is held, giving the body time to relax and getting the full benefit of the Asanas.

With Pranayama we learn to control breathing. The various exercises clean the body and concentrate and calm the mind. Breathing exercises help train the lungs, increase their volumes and make them work more effectively.

Meditation brings us closer to our self. We learn to listen to the inner voice; we find answers, peace and harmony. We hold still and discover a whole world new.

DAILY SCHEDULE

On the first day after arrival an introduction to Raja Yoga and an overview over the weekly schedule is given. In the evening a slow and easy asana class will lead into a week of intense Yoga practice. In the following days an 1 ½h asana class will be held in the mornings. During afternoon classes detailed corrections on certain positions, practice of Pranayamas (breathing exercises) lectures and meditation will be done. There is always time in between to answer questions and intensify information! The daily Yoga practice will deepen your awareness, concentration and relaxation and strengthen your body.  
 

YOGA TEACHER JANA A. CZIPIN

LOCATION

All Yoga classes are taught in the Yoga Room of SINAI ADVENTURES / SUB SINAI, a beautiful, peaceful place where you can leave all stress behind and fully concentrate on your Yoga practice. 
 

Although we have rugs available we recommend to bring your own Yoga mat!
